Arthur Rademan, age 97, of Kenosha, passed away at Sheridan Nursing Home on Saturday June 25th, 2016.
Arthur was born in Milwaukee on March 6th, 1919 to Richard and Alma (Gretzky) Rademan. He served in the U.S. Army from 1942 until 1945. On September 25th, 1954, he married Betty Senecal in Milwaukee. She preceded him in death September 22nd, 1991.
Starting his career as a “printer’s devil” or apprentice in the printing business, he worked at Atlas Printing Company in Milwaukee from 1939 until 1961. He then transferred to North Shore Printers in Waukegan from where he retired in 1984.
Arthur bought his first computer at the age of 74. It took a while for him to catch on, but eventually he became a one man printing press for his friends and helped many of them with their computer questions. He loved to use his skills for his Bible Blessings group and was a long time faithful member of Prayer House Assembly of God where he was active with the XYZ Senior group.
Arthur is survived by many dear friends from Lakeside Towers and Prayer House Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife and by all of his siblings.
A Service of Christian Burial with full military honors will take place on Thursday, June 30th, 2016 at 1:00PM at Prayer House Assembly of God (1524-25th Avenue) with the Rev. Ron Auch officiating. Visitation with the family will be held on Thursday from 12:00 noon until the time of the service at the church.
Arthur will be laid to rest next to his wife at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Zion. Burial will be private.
Celeste Briggs says:
I know this is a late text, didn’t know how to do it before now. Art was a great man, who my husband and I knew from Prayer House church. He always smiled, Art was kind and a trooper even in his wheelchair. During service, always up front. He is dearly missed.
