Arlene M. Gross, age 88 and resident of Kenosha entered eternal life on Saturday, May 18, 2013 at Hospitality Nursing and Rehab Center with her granddaughter at her side.
Born August 12, 1924 in Burlington,WI she was the daughter of the late Julius and Margaret (Burns) Ingwersen. As a young child her family moved to Kenosha, and she was educated in local schools.
Arlene was employed by American Motors as a secretary in the Accounts Payable Dept. Here she belonged to the Dinner Club, and made life long friends.
As a beloved Mother and Grandmother, Arlene loved being with her family. Attending church services, traditional family dinners, and Bunco dice games were a Sunday ritual for over twenty years. She will be sadly missed and remembered as a kind hearted, generous, and witty woman who enjoyed cooking and loved her pets very much.
Arlene was preceded in death by a brother, Gerald Ingwersen, sister, Hazel Zills, and her parents Julius and Margaret.
She is survived by two sons, Gary (Marlene) Gross of Adams Friendship County, WI, Randy (Deborah) Gross of Kenosha, four Grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at Lord of Life Lutheran Church on Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at 1:00pm. Following will be a Christian burial service at Sunset Ridge Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family would be appreciated.
