Thoughts for Anthony “Tony” Hines;

  • Richard "BO" Bosanko says:

    Kay & Family: On behalf of the Kenosha Fire Department FAMILY, both ACTIVE and RETIRED members, our sincere sympathy to all of you on the loss of your beloved Tony. We wish you many fond memories of him and all the good times that you shared together as a family. We know how important family was to him. He was also a Brother firefighter to us on the KFD, we loved him as such, and he GAVE IT RIGHT BACK! The fire station truly was his “second home”! He was a kind and gentle soul who impacted thousands of Kenoshans over the years with his kindness and compassion for his fellow man. Those of us who shared time in a Kenosha fire station with Tony can say this with certainty…..”St. Peter has NO IDEA what he is in for”!!! God Bless Our Fallen Brother, Captain Tony Hines. Rest peacefully, Cap…”we got your back”.
    In sadness, Rich “Bo” Bosanko-Battalion Chief-Retired; Kenosha Fire Dept.

  • Mickey Hines says:

    It was always great when Uncle Tony brought all his family down to Terre Haute for special occasions. One year, we had an unscheduled reunion at Beach Bend Park in Kentucky when our families found each other at the same campground. We were all so proud of Uncle Tony’s live-saving profession. He was always cheerful and supportive of all those around him. We’re grateful for his long life, but know it’s hard for Aunt Kay and all the kids, grandkids and great-grandkids to say goodbye to this great man.
