Anita Helen Lupi, age 80 a resident of Kenosha, died Tuesday August 19th 2014 at her residence.
She is survived by her son Jeffrey B. Lupi, daughter-n-law Debra A. Lupi (Capelli) and special niece Sue Mohr.
Preceding her in death was her husband, Gene Lupi who died on October 23rd, 1994 and a son David Lupi was stillborn in 1964. Also preceding in her death was her sister Irmgard Wilson, (brother in law) Robert Wilson, sister in law Emma Santapoalo and brother in law Frank Lupi.
In life she enjoyed spending time with her cats Bronco, Rascal, Marcus, Mickey and especially Annie. She loved working in her yard and planting flowers she so much loved. She spent endless hours volunteering for Animal Life Line to raise money so that she could find them homes.
Jeff and Debbie would like to extend a special thanks to Pastor Pagel (Bethany Lutheran Church) for visiting with her during her last few days and the following care-givers who were there 24 hours a day during the last months of her life so that she could pass peacefully in the comfort of her home which she loved so much: Tracy Jernigan, Terry Modory, Denia Peltz, Lori Hoffman, Kristina Harris, Brandon Smith and especially Patty Soens for all of her love and dedication to Anita.
We would also like to thank Sandra Murray, Marilyn Stella, Lynn Krok and especially Carol Jake for always being there when we could not. She cherished her “good friends” dearly.
Funeral services will be held on Monday August 25th 2014 at 11:00AM at Bethany Lutheran Church in Kenosha. (Corner of 22nd Avenue and 75th Street) Visitation with the family will be on Monday at the church form 9:00AM until the time of services. Burial will take place at Sunset Ridge Memorial.
