Pamela “Pam” Anderson

Pamela “Pam” Anderson, 63, of Kenosha, Wisconsin, passed away on Tuesday, April 30th, 2024, after a courageous battle with COPD. Born on March 2, 1961, she was the daughter of the late Vernon and Helen Anderson (nee Greco). She grew up in Kenosha and graduated from Tremper High school then attended and graduated from the Nursing program at Gateway Technical College. After graduation she started her career in nursing where she excelled putting her enormous energy into helping others and caring for others, touching the lives of others along the way, and of course making many friends.

When Pam wasn’t working hard, she was playing hard. She loved traveling and being outdoors. She was always up for an adventure, whether it was in the water, in the woods, on the open road, or in the air. She loved her time in Mexico City Beach by the Gulf of Mexico. Not content to keep both feet on the ground, she also liked to have her head in the clouds when more than once she added skydiving to her list of activities. An avid motorcyclist, Pam loved riding her Harley Davidson most weekends if the weather permitted and taking long road trips. Ever the outdoorswoman she could also be found most weekends, holidays, and free time camping.

Along with taking care of others, she had an enormous heart for animals. Always by her side were her two dogs Sherman and Louie whom she was always speaking of and doting on. She also shared this love of animals with her “Little Moon Pie” Edward, her grandson. Together they would often be found going to zoos and safaris and of course spoiling him like a grandmother should. Her energy and love for life found its way also to her daughter, Jennifer, who inherited her love for fast things and together they would ride their motorcycles together along with every roller coaster they could find.

Pam is survived by her daughter, Jennifer (Adam) Mortenson, Her grandson Edward Mortenson, and her partner Joel Farmer. She will be missed even further by the many lives she touched along the way and the many friends left to cherish her memory.

The family would like to thank all the compassionate caregivers at Hospice House and at Froedtert South Hospital System and all who grieve with them and cherish her memory.

Pam’s service will be held graveside at St. George Cemetery, Kenosha, Wisconsin, on Friday, May 17, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. Repass to follow at Fireside (2801 30th Ave) beginning at 3pm.
