Yolanda V. Ciappetta, age 87 a resident of Kenosha, died Monday January 18th 2016 at her residence.
Yolanda was born in Kenosha on August 31st, 1928 to Salvatore and Mary (Serpe) Ciappetta. She was educated in the local schools and received her associate’s degree in library science from Gateway Technical College. She was a clerical worker at many businesses in Kenosha and Racine.
Although Yolanda had no children, she was very much cherished by her extended family. She is survived by her nieces, Marlene (Emil) Beranich, Lee Ciappetta, Susan (Michael) Geliche, and Nadine (Jane) Robbins-Laurent and by her nephew Charles (Barbara) Laurent. She will also be missed by many loving nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.
Preceding Yolanda in death were her parents, her sister Catherine Laurent and her brother Leonard Ciappetta.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday January 25th 2016 at 11:00AM at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Kenosha. (Corner of 45th Street and 22nd Avenue) Burial will follow at St. George Catholic Cemetery. A time to visit with the family will be after the final committal prayers.
