Willie Brewer (1945 – 2005)

Willie C. Brewer, age 59 a resident of Racine, died Saturday January 27, 2005 at Woodstock Nursing and Rehab Center.

Born on September 26, 1945 in Mississippi he was the son of the late Curis Brewer,and Addie Lee Brewer. He was educated in the schools of Mississippi.

On October 3, 1988 in Kenosha, he married Ruthia Clmon. They later divorced.

For many years he worked as a janitor with various area businesses.

In November of 2004 he was baptized and accepted Jesus Christ at Jesus Names Apostolic Church.

He is survived by his ex-wife of Racine, his mother Addie Lee Brewer of Chicago, one brother Thomas Brewer of Chicago, one sister Maggie Brewer of Texas, three stepsons, six step daughters, fifty step grandchildren and 20 step great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father and one step daughter and one stepson.

Funeral services for Mr. Brewer will be held on Thursday February 3, 2005 at 11:00AM at Mound Cemetery Chapel in Racine. (corner of HWY 20 and West Blvd.) Visitation with the family will be on Thursday at the Mound Cemetery Chapel from 10:30AM until the time of service. Burial will take place at Mound Cemetery.
