Thoughts for William R. Allen;

      • Patrick Powaser says:

        Dean, Anita, and Lisa,

        Wishing you peace and comfort and fond memories of your dad.

        I still smile when I think about Uncle Bill and grandpa playing cribbage and your dad asking grandpa “you want half a beer, dad?” And then a little while later, “you want another half a beer, dad?” I bet they have the cribbage board out and each has a half a beer.

        Warm wishes to you all.
        Pat

        • Hello Pat,
          Near retirement my Dad would stop by every Thursday afternoon for cribbage with Grandpa. They had graduated to Peach Schnapps and Brandy which they called a ‘Fuzzy Navel’ (but wasn’t). They definitely have the cribbage board out.
          Warmest regards,
          Dean

  • So sorry for your loss. Bill was a nice fellow and very dedicated when it came to cutting the grass and attending First Reformed Church.
