William J. “Bill” Haddican, 53, of Kenosha passed away on February 11, 2018 at Froedtert South St. Catherine’s Campus with his family by his side. Bill was born on August 19, 1964 in Kenosha to Robert and MaryAnn (Jones) Haddican. He was educated in the schools of Kenosha and graduated from Tremper High School in 1982. Bill married Cheryl Valetti in Kenosha on August 22, 1987. He worked for over 25 years as a supervisor at the Great Lakes Naval Base. Bill was a member of the Kenosha Moose Lodge #286, the American Pool Association and the NRA. He enjoyed many outdoor activities including fishing and hunting. Bill also enjoyed sitting in his garage and hanging out with good friends, but his greatest joy was the time he spent with his family. Bill will always be known for his motto of “life’s too short” and that is why he always lived life to the fullest every day.
He was preceded in death by, his paternal and maternal grandparents; his aunt, Paulette Audenby
and his father-in-law, Louis Valetti.
Bill is survived by, his wife of 30 years, Cheryl of Kenosha; his parents, Robert and MaryAnn Haddican of Kenosha; two daughters, Jessica (fiancé, Rafael Berrios) Haddican of Racine
and Nichole (Cody) Valenta of Kenosha; four grandchildren, Taylor, MiKenna, Riley-Ann and Payton;
his mother-in-law, Theresa Valetti; his sister, Roxanne (Mike) Meier of Kenosha; a brother-in-law, David (Kathy) Valetti; three sisters-in-law, Luann Valetti, Debbie (Todd) Laba and Brenda (Don) Olson; three nephews; six nieces, five great nephews and four great nieces as well as other family and many friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Bill will take place on Friday, February 16, 2018 at 5:30 P.M. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church (7307 – 40th Avenue). A visitation will take place at the church on Friday from 2:30 P.M. until the time of Mass. An inurnment of cremains will take place later at Sunset Ridge Memorial Park.
