Virtue Lagodich (1920 – 2007)

Virtue Lagodich, age 87 a resident of Kenosha went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, October 2, 2007 at Hospitality Nursing and Rehab Center.

Virtue was born April 13, 1920 to Clarence and Lillian (Oquist) Monta in Kenosha.

Virtue married John Lagodich on July 5, 1944

She was a Private in the Women?s Army Corps from March 29, 1944 to December 16, 1945. Her awards and decorations included Amy Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal, and WWII Victory Medal.

Virtue is survived by her loving husband John; four children Mary Lagodich of Kenosha, Sergei (Katie) Lagodich of Hailey, ID, Simeon (Tracy) Lagodich of New York, NY, and Ivan (Elena Maria) Lagodich of Kenosha; and three beautiful granddaughters Lara (Erik) Dietrich, Grace Lagodich, and Lucie Valentine Gill-Lagodich. She is also survived by her sister Joyce Sunday and her brother George Monta.

Virtue is preceded in death by her daughter Valentine Hoff.

A Funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 6, 2007 at 10:30 am at First Assembly of God Church at 10700-75th Street in Kenosha. Visitation will be at service time only. A private family burial will take place at Southern Wisconsin Veteran?s Cemetery in Union Grove.
