Virginia Witt (1921 – 2012)

Virginia Witt (nee: Poblocki), age 91was born to eternal life on November 25, 2012. She was educated in the schools of Winona MN. She married Melvin E Witt in 1941 in Winona MN and they later divorced. She moved to Kenosha in 1954. Virginia worked for many years at JC Penny and Sears in many capacities. She was a member of St. Marks Catholic Church and sang for many years in the choir and volunteered for years in the rectory. She also volunteered at Kenosha Medical Center.

Virginia is loved and survived by her children Dennis (Kathy) of Delafield WI, Barbara (Kenneth) Lenfestey of Chetek WI, Jerry of Necedah WI and David (Paulette) of Kenosha, and by 15 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. She is further survived by 2 brothers Robert Poblocki of Austin MN and Kenneth (Marge) Poblocki of Winona MN.

Virginia was preceded in death by one brother Joseph.

Virginia was known for her smile, her cheerful disposition, her loving nature, and her Christian life. She will always be missed by all who knew and loved her.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday November 29th 2012 at 11:00AM at St. Mark Catholic Church (7117-14th Avenue) Visitation with the family will be on Thursday at the church from 9:30 AM until the time of mass. Entombment will follow at All Saints Catholic Cemetery.
