Violet Hayden, age 92, a resident of Kenosha, passed away on Sunday, November 29, 2015 at Manor Care.
Violet was born in Dubuque, Iowa on January 15, 1923 to Albert and Harriet “Hattie” (Zlaebeck) Williams. On June 26, 1948, she was married to Harold Hayden in Dubuque.
As a homemaker, Violet took great pride in her house and her family. She loved to cook and take care of her family. Everyone who met her could see what a sweet, kind soul she had. She will be deeply missed.
She is survived by her son Robert (Marie) Hayden of Kenosha and by her grandchildren, Dawn (Jason) Vogt of Cordova, Tennessee, Sarah (Dewey) Graham of Chesapeake, Virginia, Christopher Brabant of Vancouver, Canada, Gabriel Brabant of Chesapeake, Virginia, Erika Hayden of Racine, Jonathan (Allyson) Hayden of New Berlin and Megan Hayden of Oak Creek. She is survived in addition by her great grandchildren Hayden Graham, Colton Graham, Allyson Graham and Natalie Vogt and by her sister Gerri Roth of Dubuque, Iowa and her good friend Barbara Grayson of Kenosha.
Violet was preceded in death by her husband Harold, her brother Robert Williams, her sisters Doris Roth and Marjorie Post and by her daughter Linda Hayden and her son Terry Hayden.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday December 4, 2015 at 10:00AM at St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church (5900-7th Ave.) A visitation with the family will be held on Friday from 9:00AM until the time of the service. Burial will take place at Sunset Ridge Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family would be appreciated.
