Violet (Laughary-Losch) Bell, age 91 of Peoria, IL left us on March 13, 2025 while visiting her children in Kenosha, WI. She was born in Table Grove, IL, the second born child of Alvin & Glenna (Sandidge) Laughary. She was married to Donald Losch of Peoria who served in the Navy. Surviving are her daughters Kat Losch of Kenosha, WI and Karen (Mark) Whitmire of Bloomer, WI. Son David Losch of Kenosha, WI. Violet has six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. She is survived by her sisters Wanda Bastin, Margie Mudd, and brother Larry Laughary. She is preceded in death by her son Daniel Losch in 2022 of Pleasant Prairie, WI. Also preceded her parents, and brothers Robert, Bill, Gary and sisters Wilma, Darlene.
She retired after 25 years from Abbott Pharmaceuticals in North Chicago, Illinois. Returned to Peoria to retired with her sisters. Violet was an oil painter of landscapes. Her other interest included traveling across the U.S. states and to Ireland, Scotland, England with her sisters while investigating the family history. They discover family up to the early 1600s.
There will be no visitation. She will be interned at the Davison-Fulton Funeral Chapel on N. University in Peoria, IL.
