Viola May Romano, age 75 a resident of Kenosha died Friday January 7, 2005 at Kenosha Care Center.
Born on February 19, 1929 in Ladysmith WI, she was the daughter of the late William Fred and Etta Estella (Seeley) Moeller.
She was educated in the schools of Watersmeet MI. She came to the Kenosha area in the 1950?s.
On September 27, 1962 she married Frank Romano in Kenosha. She was a homemaker in her own home.
She was member of Paris Corners United Methodist Church, and was very active in different church organizations. She was an avid bowler for many years and received a 20-year perfect attendance award from the Western Morning Stars Bowling League. She loved poetry and had written her own poems. She also enjoyed arts, crafts and doll making. At one time, she had crafted 50 sets of Raggedy Ann and Andy Dolls in a one-year period and donated them her church.
She is survived by her husband; Frank Romano of Kenosha, three sons; David (Cyndi) Kavis, Dean Romano and Scott Romano, all of Kenosha; one stepson, Kim Hazen of Green Bay; three daughters; Kay (Chuck) Konz, Lois (Al) Lecy, Betty (Dennis) Sutkiewicz all of Kenosha; one step daughter Colleen Hazen of Kenosha, 14 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She is further survived by one sister Shirley (Ardell) Dworak of Kenosha.
She was preceded in death by her parents; five brothers Richard, Arthur, Gerald, James, Clifford; three sisters; Marjorie, Mildred, Hazel, one stepson; Timothy and one granddaughter Eugenia.
A memorial service for the Viola May Romano will be held on Monday January 10, 2005 at 5:00PM at the Paris Corners United Methodist Church. ( ? mile west of the Hwy 142 and Hwy 45 intersection) Visitation with the family will be at the church from 4:00 PM until the time of services.
