Thomas H. Christiansen, age 72, a resident of Kenosha, passed away on Wednesday October 26, 2011 at the United Hospital Systems Kenosha Medical Center Campus.
Thomas was born on February 27, 1939 in Milwaukee WI the son of the late Henry and Marita (Lenz) Christiansen. On December 27, 1967, he married Mary Lou Tapley in Waukegan IL. Thomas was a Past Master of North Chicago Masonic Lodge, Past Master Waukegan Lodge, Waukegan IL, and Past Patron of Easter Chapter, North Chicago IL. He was a member of the Kenosha County Sheriff Citizen’s Academy and a member of Unity Masonic Lodge, Kenosha.
Tom was a master of jokes and a man of little words. He will be missed by all who know him. Tom was also very informed about local politics and was a frequent caller to WLIP.
Thomas is survived by his loving wife Mary Lou (Tapley) Christiansen and his four children Robert, Tim (Jennifer), Deborah (Liam) Moran, and Susan (Mike) Conlon. He is also survived by his fourteen grandchildren Jennifer (Ben) Oven, Stephanie (Mike) Specht, Robyn Christiansen, Cody Thur, Calvin and Cooper Christiansen, Alina, Miranda and Moira Moran, Michael, Mason, Matthew and Madison Conlon and Caryn Gezzer, and one great grandchild Savanah Rose Black. He is further survived by one sister Mailyn (Doug) Schoen.
Thomas was preceded in death by his parents and one granddaughter Monica Conlon.
An Open House Celebration of his life will be held on Saturday November 5th 2011 from 1-5PM at his residence at 6704-21st Avenue in Kenosha.

I know it was 4 years ago, but I just learned of Toms death. He was my mentor for 5 years back in the 80’s & we had grown close at the time. I am very sad as I had wished to try to reconnect with Tom. If Mary Lou is still with us & you indeed get this note, please give her my condolences & love
