Terri Lynn (Bascombe) Stofferahn, age 63, of Kenosha, WI, passed away peacefully on November 2, 2023, at her home surrounded by her loved ones.
Terri was born on October 11, 1960, to Larry and Joyce Bascombe in Waukegan, IL. She grew up in Newport Township and later moved to Winthrop Harbor. In 1977, she met the love of her life, Mark Stofferahn. She went on to marry Mark on June 9th, 1979, at Assembly of God Church in Zion, Illinois. In 2002, her and her family relocated to Kenosha, WI, where she resided for the remainder of her life.
Terri always had a niche for gardening and flowers. No matter where she was, she would always make it a point to stop at every greenhouse she could. Her passion shined at her job, Anton’s Greenhouse, where she worked and helped manage for over 20 years. Terri had a lot of other passions as well. She would walk the beaches of Lake Michigan collecting sea glass, antique shopping and estate sales, and spending time with her family. Most importantly her grandkids.
Terri is survived by her loving Husband of 44 years, Mark Stofferahn; Father, Larry Bascombe; Children, Justin (Diana) Stofferahn, Brandon (Crystal) Stofferahn, Sara (John) Baldwin; Grandchildren, Kylee Stofferahn, Haylee Stofferahn, Tyler Stofferahn, Nick Stofferahn, Austin Stofferahn, Auvrey Stofferahn, Ryleigh Baldwin and Easton Baldwin; Brother, Randy (Dawn) Bascombe; Sister, Connie (Rich) Boren, and many other family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Joyce (Moore) Bascombe; and Mother and Father-in-law Dorothy and Norman Stofferahn.
The family would like to thank Doctor Bandely’s office, the staff at the Cancer Center at Aurora Hospital in Kenosha, Hospice Alliance, and Journey Church for their support during this time.
A visitation will be held November 12, 2023, from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM at Journey Church located on 10700 75th St, Kenosha, WI, with a funeral service to follow. Snacks and drinks will follow the service.
