Stuart A. Yoder, age 75 a resident of Racine, died Thursday January 27, 2005 at Kenosha Hospital and Medical Center.
Born on January 7, 1930 in Waukegan IL, was the son of the late Harley and Ella (Burnheimer) Yoder. He was educated in the schools of Gurnee, IL. He was in the US Air Force form 1950 to 1954.
On August 30, 1958 he married Shirley Johnson in Racine. They later divorced.
He was employed for over 34 years at Eaton Corporation (Dynamanic Division) as a machinist. He was in the local machinists union. He loved to hunt, fish and enjoyed the outdoors.
He is survived by his ex-wife Shirley Yoder of Racine; one son Paul A. Yoder of Richmond Virginia, one daughter Julia (Robert) Kaplan also of Richmond, one granddaughter Amber Kaplan, two brothers Richard (Kathleen) Yoder of Waukesha, Donald (Marilyn) Yoder of IL., two sisters, Phyllis Wegener of Fondulac WI, Kay (George) Kelly of Kenosha, one sister in law Florence Yoder of IL and many other loving nieces and nephews.
His parents and one brother Harley Yoder Jr. preceded him in death.
Funeral services for Mr. Stuart A. Yoder will be held on Friday February 4, 2005 at 1:00PM at Mound Cemetery Chapel in Racine. (Corner of HWY 20 and West Blvd ) Visitation will be held on Friday at the Mound Cemetery Chapel from 12:00 until the time of services. Burial will take place at the Southern WI Veterans Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated to the Calvary Memorial Church in Racine.
