Sidney W. “Hawk” Brooks Jr.

Sidney “Hawk” Brooks Jr. passed away unexpectedly at home on July 13th 2024. He was 44 years old.

Hawk was born in Kenosha to parents Sidney and Dawn Brooks and was educated in Kenosha schools. He worked as an oil technician at Take 5 before battling recurring medical issues that took him away from work. He began dating his future wife Krissi Ruppa in 2016 before tying the knot in 2021 in a beautiful ceremony at Casa Capri Restaurant.

In his free time he was a gamer, playing games like GTA5, WWE 2k24, Ark, and Mortal Kombat. He was a big Pro Wrestling fan, a very proud Cat-Dad to Starrlynn Madisin Emalee and Stormie Mea, and a devoted husband and son-in-law. He loved going on “dinner dates” with his mother-in-law Debbie, but most of all he loved simply spending time with his wife Krissi.

Hawk was preceded in death by his father, Sidney Brooks Sr, and a son, Charlie Vandenburg.

He is survived by his wife Krissi, his mother-in-law Debbie Ruppa, and his mother Dawn.

Hawk will be dearly missed.
