Shirley Marie Boyd

Shirley Marie Boyd, age 75, passed away on July 11^th, 2021, surrounded by family at her home. She was born on September 24^th, 1945, to Robert and Hattie Varnado in Illinois. Shirley married the love of her life Cornell Boyd on September 26^th, 1991. They shared 40 wonderful years together. Shirley loved bingo and attending church services and functions at Blessings Center. After her retirement as a dietary manager, she became a crossing guard and enjoyed helping to keep the children safe. Shirley will be deeply missed by all that knew her. She is survived by her husband Cornell Boyd, sons Arlington Davis, Nathaniel Varnado, Steven Varnado, Ahjamah Varnado, and Charles Tines, daughters Shirley Boyd, 36 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild, 1 brother and 2 sisters. She is preceded in death by her mother Hattie Varnado and son Clifford Davis. Shirley’s family would like to welcome all to attend the celebration of life services on July 28^th, 2021, at 2820 Washington Road in Kenosha.
