Kenosha- Shelia Joy Hultner, 79 of Kenosha, passed away Tuesday, December 28, 2021 and Douglas Wayne Hultner, 78 of Kenosha, passed away Saturday, January 1st, 2022 at Froedtert South Kenosha Medical Center. Both passed from an unexpected illness.
Shelia was born April 8th,1942, in Ironwood MI the daughter of Luigi J. and Mildred M. (Myers) Valetti.
Douglas was born January 9th,1943, in Superior, WI the son of Clarence T. and Clara S. (Olson) Hultner.
Douglas had a career at Snap-On Tools in Kenosha for 40 years and Shelia worked for several of her mother’s restaurants until she met and married Douglas and then she enjoyed being a homemaker for their family. The couple were united in marriage on May 28th, 1964 in Waukegan, IL and enjoyed over 57 years of marriage together.
Douglas and Shelia loved going to casinos, traveling together, and being part of the breakfast club with the Snap-On group. Douglas was a huge Green Bay Packer fan and Shelia enjoyed watching the games with him. They adored being with their family and were dedicated parents, grandparents and great grandparents. They adored their family and thoroughly enjoyed any family get-togethers and when family stopped in to see them.
Douglas and Shelia are survived by their daughter, Diana (Robin) Russell of West Allis; a daughter in law Terri Mieloszyk of Kenosha; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; a great granddaughter raised as their daughter, Anastasia J. Hultner; her sister Lillie (Becky) Johnson and sister in law, Theresa Valetti and a nephew who was raised as a son, Thomas M. Valetti. They are further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Douglas and Shelia are preceded in death by their parents; a son, Norman G. Mieloszyk Jr; her brothers, Louie and Thomas L. Valetti; his brother and sister, Ted Hultner and June Corey and brother-in-law, John Johnson.
Douglas and Shelia’s family would like to send a special thank you to the Palmer Medical Staff at Froedtert South for taking such great care of them.
Due to current conditions the family is choosing to have no services at this time. Memorials to the family may be made to a college fund in the name of Anastasia Hultner.
