Sharon Hartnell (1945 – 2011)

Sharon A Hartnell, age 65 a resident of Kenosha, died August 24, 2011 at the Aurora Medical Center. She was born on October 3, 1945 in Waupun, WI to Howard and Dorothy (Pierce) Probst. She moved to Kenosha as a young girl was educated in the schools of Kenosha. She graduated from Mary D.Bradford High School in 1964.

On February 6, 1965 Sharon was united in marriage to Howard J. Hartnell in Kenosha, WI. She worked briefly for LeBlancCorp, but spent most of her life as a homemaker, taking care of her husband and family. She also enjoyed softball, fishing and camping

Sharon is survived by her husband Howard, sons Jeffery (Connie) Hartnell of Pleasant Prairie and Craig Hartnell of Kenosha, grandchildren Colton and Chase. She is further survived by one sister Patricia (Matt) Mussatti of Gilbert AZ, and two brothers Richard Probst of Portland OR and Raymond Probst of Gilbert AZ and several beloved nieces and nephews.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Donna Mae in infancy.

The family would like to especially thank Sonny, Natasha, Sheila and Sandy.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday August 29, 2011 at 6:oo p.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Visitation with the family will take place at the church from 4:00 until the time of the Mass. Burial will take place at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to The Multiple Sclerosis Society or the American Cancer society would be appreciated.
