  • Shane… I will forever hold onto all the memories I have of us growing up together. From playing with your Star Wars guys to the time you played that joke on me and pretended you had to stop at Grandpa’s house to pick something up at 10 at night and that I should stay in the car cause the grandparents would be sleeping. So I sat in the car listening to Temple of the Dog and as I was observing the neighborhood, I noticed someone was walking down the middle of the street down the road. Now this was on 17th ave & 27th street, so the light wasn’t the best, and im probably 13yrs old, so Im a lil nervous seeing this person walking down the middle of this dark road. As this person gets closer, they start to walk faster towards the car and as soon as they got close enough, I noticed this person had the WHOLE Michael Meyers Halloween costume on, and this is all happening really fast because now Michael Meyers is running towards the car and im screaming trying to find the door handle and he jumps up on the hood of the car, and I finally got the door to open and took of running down the road. I got a block away and heard, “Gina, It’s me, it’s Shane”! He knew my love for horror movies and that Michael was my favorite, so he did what cousins do, scared his younger cousin, and then we laughed about it for the next 30 years. Im going to miss you so much! Especially reminiscing with you about all our adventures that you, me, Pete and Aaron would go on. I’ll see you again one day cousin. Till then, I love you cousin. See you on the other side ❤️

  • I’m deeply saddened by the loss of Shane. I know he was working toward a better life. I knew him as a man of strength, faith and resilience. He was never afraid to speak his truth or to stop and listen to others who were trying to help him along the way.

He was always a welcome presence and always greeted you with a smile. He will be missed dearly.

  • Brother Leach, I can’t help but remember all the shits and giggles we had together working at Schenck Co in Orlando slepping beer. Neither of us really knew what the future held so boy did we ever have fun doing at the time something we both loved doing.. selling and drinking beer. I hate that your gone. Love ya Brother Leach! Rest In Peace Eternal Memory Blessed Repose 🙏🏻💔

Hi shipmate, many of us lost touch when we separated from the service; but, I do remember you as someone that got along well with others and respectful. You always carried a smile and joy from within. May the good Lord continues to bless you in heaven and keep the light shining for all of your family and friends. Life is like a vapor in the air, here today and gone in a second. Let it count…!🙏🙏🙏 in Jesus name AMEN. Fair winds and following seas…
