Rose L. McIntosh, age 87 a resident of Paddock Lake has gone to sing for Jesus. She passed away Monday January 31, 2011 at her residence.
Rose was born on March 8, 1923 to the late Ernest and Effie Mae (Castile) Marks in Isley, KY. She was educated in the schools of Kentucky. She loved to sing and loved country music. Rose loved her family very much. Rose loved anything and everything pink. On May 4, 1948 Rose married Floyd McIntosh in Indiana.
Rose is survived by one son Floyd “Bud†McIntosh of Salem WI and two daughters Violet (Bob) McGrath of Bristol WI, and Paula (Terry) Aiken of Portland OR. She is also survived by six grandchildren Tracy (Thomas) Zimmerman, Robert (Tammy McGrath), Melanie Boll, Eric Forst, Monroe McIntosh, and Colton Aiken and three great grandchildren Jake, Jocee, and Jonah. Rose is further survived by one sister Barbara (Eddie) Dunbar of Dawson Springs KY and many nieces and nephews.
Rose was preceded in death by her parents, husband Floyd on December 18, 2006, and several brothers and sisters.
Funeral service will be held on Monday February 7, 2011 at 11:00AM at Christ Lutheran Church in Paddock Lake. (24929-75th Street) Visitation with the family will be on Monday at the church from 10:00AM until the time of services. Burial will take place on Tuesday at 9:00AM at Liberty Cemetery in Trevor WI.
