Ronald Schoedl (1937 – 2005)

Ronald L. Schoedl, age 68 a resident of Racine died Saturday December 31, 2005 at Hospice House in Pleasant Prairie.

Born on August 31, 1937 in Racine, he was the son of the late Lloyd W. Schoedl and Helen (Adams) Francis.

On August 3, 1963 he would marry Joy Jung in Racine. They would later divorce.

A lifelong Racine resident, he was educated in the schools of Racine. He served in the U.S. Air Force. For almost 30 years he was employed by JI Case of Racine. He retired in 1995.

He is survived by three sons; Jeff Schoedl; David (Ann Marie) Schoedl and Ronald M. Schoedl all of Racine; two daughters Karen (Kelly) Hinkle and Sherry (Mike) Cooper both of Racine; nine grandchildren, four great grandchildren; one brother Warren Francis of Lac du Flambeau WI; two sisters Donna (Fred) Writesman of Lac du Flambeau WI, and Lorrie (Jan) Farral of Sturtevant WI.

He was preceded in death by his biological father, his mother Helen Francis, his step father Oscar Francis and one brother James Schoedl.
