Ronald P. McCrary of Kenosha passed away at his home on Wednesday, September 2, 2015, into his Heavenly Home, after courageously fighting a two-year battle with cancer. He was 66 years of age. Ron was born on April 29, 1949 in St. Louis Mo. to Kenneth and Ann (Herl) McCrary. He attended Tremper High School in Kenosha and was employed at Johnson Motors, Lamb Engines and T &T Race Engines. Ron had a passion for racing and was considered by many as one of the better race engine tuners in the area. He was a sports fan, but particularly enjoyed watching pro football and was an avid Packer fan.
Ron is survived by his daughter Courtney Richardson, three grandchildren, his two brothers, Steven (Cheryl) McCrary and Mike (Cheryl) McCrary, as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father Kenneth, in July 1988, his mother Ann in November 1997, half-sister Sandy Thiemann, and his son, Aaron in November of 2006.
Per Ron’s wishes services will be private. Ron’s family expresses their heartfelt appreciation to Casey Family Options and Vitas Hospice, for their compassionate and professional care during Ron’s illness.
