Roland R. Krinker, age 83, passed away on Thursday October 20, 2011 at St. Joseph Home and Rehabilitation Center.
Roland was born on September 26, 1928 to Reinhold and Martha (Wittke) Krinker in Chicago IL. In October 1949, Roland married Ann Evelyn Harrison in Chicago IL, who preceded him in death in 1974. In June 1987, he married Marilyn Kay (Wilt) in Kenosha WI. Roland owned and operated Krinker’s Hallmark Shop for 28 years. He was also a sales consultant for 17 years. He was a member of Lord of Life Lutheran Church and the Downtown Business Association.
Roland is survived by his wife Marilyn, six sons Russell (Patricia) Krinker of Apple Valley CA, Richard Krinker of San Francisco CA, Randall Krinker of NM, Ronald Krinker of Skagway AK, Robert (Yoori) Krinker of Long Beach, CA and Rod Krinker of Kenosha WI. He is also survived by one step son Douglas Noreen of Fort Drum NY and one step daughter Heather (James) Bonte of Spain, sixteen grandchildren and one great grandchild. He is further survived by two sisters Dorothy Buchholz of Fox River Grove IL and Nancy Althafer of Atlanta GA.
Roland was preceded in death by his parents and his first wife Ann.
Memorial services will be held on Thursday October 27th 2011 at 6:30PM at Lord of Life Lutheran Church in Kenosha. (5601-Washington Avenue) Visitation with the family will take place on Thursday at the church from 4:30PM until the time of services.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to Lord of Life Lutheran Church would be appreciated.
