Rochelle M. Whippo, age 74, of Racine formerly of Kenosha passed away on Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at Kenosha Place with her loving family by her side. Rochelle was born in Kenosha on September 1, 1944 to Walter and Jane (Newhouse) Bezotte. She was educated in the schools of Kenosha and graduated from St. Joseph’s High School. Rochelle married Brad Whippo on Roatan Island in Honduras in a beautiful beach ceremony. She worked for many years at Martino’s Dry Cleaners and was especially proud when she received her real estate license and worked for Real Estate One. Rochelle enjoyed decorating and gardening, but her greatest joy and light of her life was her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Rochelle is survived by, her husband, Brad Whippo; three sons, Mark (Maryellen) Hervat of Winter Garden, FL, Brian (Carolyn) Hervat and Michael Hervat both of Kenosha; seven grandchildren, Nate, Zeke, Madison, William, Jason, Amanda and Alexa; her brother, Ronald Bezotte; a sister, Charmaine Sullivan; her four-legged friend, Lolly as well as other family and friends.
A memorial service for Rochelle will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, October 13, 2018 at the Woman’s Club of Kenosha (6028 – 8th Avenue). A visitation with the family will be held at the Woman’s Club on Saturday from 9:30 A.M. until the time of service. Memorials to Aurora at Home Hospice would be appreciated.
The family would like to express their sincerest gratitude to the staffs at the Kenosha Place and Aurora at Home Hospice for the care they gave to Rochelle.
