Robert W. “Butch” Tribur Sr., age 76, a resident of Kenosha, passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday May 30, 2015, after a courageous battle with cancer.
He was born on May 9th, 1939 in Kenosha to Willard and Ethel (Gillis) Tribur. He was educated in the schools of Kenosha and was a hard worker. He was employed through the years by MacWhyte, Aldon and Car Quest.
Robert enjoyed the Packers, Nascar and he and his sweetheart June loved to spend the day fishing together. Mostly he enjoyed spending time with his family.
Surviving him are his loving wife of 56 years, June Tribur of Kenosha, his son Robert (Monika) Tribur Jr., his daughters Linda (Jody) Orlando and Cheri (Timothy) Vaccaro and his sister Diana (Kenneth) Palmen. He is further survived by ten grandchildren, by thirteen great grandchildren with one on the way, several nieces and nephews.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, by his sister Barbara Lindsey, his brother Raymond “Chuck” Tribur, sister-in-law Dru Tribur and by a daughter Kimberly Ann in infancy.
A service of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday June 6, 2015 at 11:00 am at Holy Nativity Lutheran Church (2313-17th Avenue) Visitation with the family will be held at the church on Saturday from 9:30 am until the time of services.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the family would be appreciated.
The family is especially grateful to Hospice Alliance, especially Mohammed, Renee and Jackie for the wonderful care they gave to Robert and his family.
