Robert D. Milton, age 54 a resident of Union Grove, died Tuesday April 26, 2005 at his residence.
Born on May 20, 1950 in Elkhorn, WI, he was the proud son of George and La Von (Fuerstenau) Milton.
On June 13, 1981, he married Barbara Rogers in Racine.
Robert was a leather worker and loved fishing. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War in Panama and worked at American Roller in Union Grove until 1991.
He is survived by his loving wife, his parents, his sons: Bill (Carrie) Salvano of Milwaukee and Sky Milton of Union Grove; daughter Angela (David) Helms of Florida; brothers Roger Milton of Delavan and Kevin Milton of Elkhorn; brother-in-law Rick (Donna) Rogers of Racine; sisters-in-law; Sue Madison of Racine, Pat (Patrick) Kortendick of Sturtevant, Debbie Rogers of Union Grove, and Lisa (Walter) Olszewski of Racine. Robert is also survived by 2 loving grand children; Erin Helms of Florida and Jason Salvano of Milwaukee and many other family and friends.
Robert was preceded in death by his brother-in-law Gregory Madison.
Services for the late Robert D. Milton will be held on Sunday May 1, 2005 at 5PM at Trinity United Methodist Church – 3825 Erie St in Racine. Visitation with the family will be from 4PM until the time of the service at the church. Committal service will be held at 9:30AM on Monday May 2, 2005 at the Southern Wisconsin Veteran?s Cemetery -21731 Spring St in Union Grove.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Milton family would be appreciated.
