Robert E. Johnson, age 62 a resident of Kenoshadied Wednesday April 1st 2015 at United Hospital Systems Kenosha Medical Center Campus.
Born on March 17th 1953 he was the son of the Robert A. Johnson and Junnie (McKinney) Johnson of Georgia.
He proudly served in the US Navy aboard the USS Santa Barbara.
He was employed for many years as a union machinist and was a member of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers AFL-CIO. Known for his kind heart and his funny stories, he will be missed by family and friends alike.
He is survived by his mother; one son Robert “Bob” (Rachel Brandes) Johnson of Kenosha; one daughter Penny Johnson of Mundelein IL; and three grandchildren; Jayden Johnson, MaKenzie Johnson and Madison Brandes. He is further survived by three brothers; Richard, Gerald and Joel, as well as one sister Wanda (Jeff) Bowman.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday April 4th 2015 at 11:00AM at the Womans Club of Kenosha. (6028-8th Avenue, across from Library Park) Visitation with the family will be on Saturday at the Womans Club from 9:30 AM until the time of services.
