Richard A. Bisciglia Sr., age 93 a resident of Kenosha, died Friday July 30th 2010 at the United Hospital Systems Kenosha Medical Center.
Born on February 5th 1917 he was the son of the late Frank and Catherine (Meo) Bisciglia.
He was educated in the schools of Kenosha. He served in the US Air Corp as a Sergeant. His tour included the United States and Europe during WWII. On November 8th 1945 he married Sarah Spizzirri in Kenosha. He was employed at the Eaton Corporation retiring in 1979. He loved to golf and to play Bocce Ball with his friends at the Italian American Club He was a long time member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife of Kenosha; one son Scott (Renata) Bisciglia of Kenosha; two daughters, Catherine (Edward) Evans of Rockton IL; Barbara (Harry) Adams of Lindenhurst IL; six grandchildren, Edward (Kathleen) Evans, Todd Evans, Anise (Brian) Johnson, Jason Adams, Brendan Bisciglia and Bianca Bisciglia. He is further survived by one brother Frank (Carmelina) Bisciglia of Kenosha, three sisters, Margaret Chiappetta, Mary Ruffolo, and Evelyn (George) Georno.
He was preceded in death his parents; three brothers Vito, Joseph and Thomas, sisters Santa Lia and Theresa LoCicero and one son Richard A. Bisciglia Jr
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday August 4th 2010 at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church. Visitation will be on Wednesday at the church from 10:00AM until the time of mass. Burial will be private at St. George Catholic Cemetery.
