Richard A. Kavis, “Chef,” age 55, of Kenosha passed away on Wednesday, July 8th, 2020. He was a graduate of Le Cordon Bleu Culinary School in February of 2006. Richard was a loving son, an outstanding Father, a beloved Brother, and a dear friend. He was an avid Bears fan, and never missed a Sunday race. By far, Richard’s largest passion was cooking. He enjoyed catering for people and lived for the smile on their face after their first bite. He truly always knew how to make something out of nothing. Richard is survived by Joby Kavis (Son), Diana Kavis-Troughton (Sister), John Kavis (Brother), Brittany Gniot (Niece), and Amy Grennell (Niece). Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 15th, at the Woman’s Club of Kenosha.
