Rebecca A Beltoya, 54 of Kenosha passed away peacefully on Monday, Oct. 31, at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Kenosha on Dec. 26, 1956, she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Maryann (Dodge) Beltoya.
On Nov. 19, 1974 she married Stephen E Cook. They later divorced.
Rebecca’s focus would be raising her daughter, Angela and helping her mother run the family business. In the heyday of chartered coho-fishing Beckie enjoyed a brief career filleting trophy catches and supplying roe for caviar processing. As a talented seamstress she fashioned clothes and costume. But mostly she will be remembered as loving mother and mentor.
Rebecca is survived by her daughter Angela M Cook of Kenosha, fiance David McCarthy of Kenosha, sister Roberta Beltoya of Madison, Wis., brothers Alfred Beltoya of Waterford, Wis., and Anthony Beltoya of McIntosh, Mn. Rebecca was preceded in death by her parents.
A memorial service will take place on Saturday November 5 at 3:00 pm at the Kenosha Womens Club of Kenosha. (6028-8th Avenue.) Parking is accessible from Sheridan Road or on 8th Avenue). Visitation will take place on Saturday from 1:30 until the time of the service.
