Randy William Bonn

Randy William Bonn, age 70, of Kenosha, passed away on April 19th, 2025, at Froedtert South in Pleasant Prairie. He was born on July 10th, 1954, in Kenosha, to the late Richard Bonn and Shirley (Keefner) Bonn. He attended local schools and graduated from Tremper High School in 1972. He worked at American Motors and after many years of service he retired in 2010.

Randy was always a practical joker, and his jokes will continue to live on through his family. Randy loved Abraham Lincoln and was very inspired by his fine leadership qualities. He collected anything related to Lincoln including a set of wooden teeth rumored to have belonged to the late Lincoln at one time. He will also be remembered as a great athlete playing in numerous city leagues for both softball and basketball. He was an avid Wisconsin sports fan, especially the Packers, Brewers and Bucks. Randy was a person who didn’t care who you were, just gave you a chance and treated you like a real person. He will be missed by many.

He is survived by his children: Joseph (Kim) Bonn, Michelle Bonn, Michael (Kayla) Bonn, grandchildren: Haley Bodven, Jenna Tranberg, Trista Bonn-Vulnera, Landon Sellers, Willow Concepcion, Ivy Bonn, and Sage Bonn, brothers: Rick Bonn, Robin Bonn, and Kevin (Gina) Bonn, many nieces, nephews, friends, and his dog Sonny. He is preceded in death by his parents, and sister-in-law Paula Bonn.

The family would like to thank the staff at Robin Way Assisted Living and the ICU Staff at Froedtert South in Pleasant Prairie for all their kind compassion and care during this difficult time.

A visitation will take place at St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church (2020 91st St.) in Kenosha on Tuesday, April 29th, 2025, at 10 A.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will also take place at church at 12 P.M. on the same day. In lieu of flowers, memorials to EWTN are appreciated.
