Randall Nix (1928 – 2012)

Randall R. “Randy” Nix, alias Bo, age 84, a resident of Kenosha passed away Monday April 9, 2012 peacefully at home.

Randy was born on February 16, 1928 to the late Ralph and Ressie (Compton) Nix in Kentucky. He was employed at Chrysler Corp for many years retiring on April 1, 1989. He was an active union member of UAW #72. Randy was a member of the democratic party and was very opinionated in local politics. He was a 28 year member of the Kenosha Alano Club. Randy loved to fish, camp and travel with Janet. Randy was an 11 year snow bird, traveling to Mesa AZ.

Randy is survived by his son Eddy (Debbi) Nix of Kenosha and his long time companion and soul mate Janet Nies of Kenosha and her extended family whom he considered his family. He is also survived by two brothers Donnie and Ronnie Nix and one sister Maggie Sills all still living in KY. He is further survived by nieces and nephews and his best buddy Scruffy.

Services for Randy will take place on Wednesday April 11, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. at Holy Nativity Lutheran Church (2313 17th Avenue). Visitation with the family will take place on Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. until the time of the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Kenosha Alano Club would be appreciated.
