Ramon “Ray” Gonzales Jr. age 57, a resident of Kenosha, died Friday August 18, 2017 at Aurora Hospital.
Ray was born March 25, 1960 in California to Ramon and Ramona (Martinez) Gonzales Sr.
On August 1, 1978, he was united in marriage with Maria Flores and they made their home in Kenosha. He was employed for many years by IRIS USA, before his retirement due to health issues.
In his youth, he enjoyed playing softball and was an avid pool player for many years. Ray liked music and spending time with his loving family. He attended Mass at St. Mark’s Catholic Church.
Ramon is survived by his beloved wife Maria Gonzales and by his five daughters, Diana (Steven) Elvetici, Vicki (Jorge) Gallegos, Veronica (Michael) Sanchez, Marisela Gonzales and Yesenia (Antonio Rodriguez) Gonzales, all of Kenosha. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and by his beloved chihuahua Chiquita.
Preceding Ray in death were his parents and his brother Eddie Gonzales.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Ramon will be held on Friday August 25, 2017 at 11:00AM at St. Mark’s Catholic Church (Sheridan Road and 72nd Street). Visitation with the family will take place on Friday morning at the church from 9:30AM until the time of Mass. Burial will follow at St. James Cemetery.
