Chuck Lamb, age 86, a resident of Kenosha, passed away on Tuesday May 17th, 2016 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Milwaukee.
Chuck was born in Chicago Illinois on September 16th, 1929 to Rea and Eva (Bjurman) Lamb. He graduated from the University of Idaho with a degree in Civil Engineering. He served in the U.S. Army, stationed both stateside and overseas as a combat engineer.
On June 21st, 1959, he was united in marriage with Germaine Peltier at St. Mark Catholic Church. Chuck worked through the years at Dynamatic and Wisconsin Bell, ultimately retiring from American Motors/Chrysler Corporation as a Plant Engineer Supervisor in 1990.
Chuck had a sharp mind and enjoyed reading, traveling, crossword puzzles, playing cards and golf. He was a member of the Senior Golf League, the Danish Brotherhood and was proud to be a board member and part owner of the Kenosha Twins baseball team.
Chuck cherished his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. He loved to spend winters in Phoenix with his wife.
Left to cherish Chuck’s memory is his wife Germaine of Kenosha, his sons Charles (Martina) Lamb of Colleyville TX and Thomas Lamb of St. Charles IL and his daughters Susan Pieri of Montgomery AL and Jane (Chris) Andacht of Oak Creek. In addition, he is survived by his grandchildren, Jennifer Andacht Ewing, Kate Andacht, Amelia Andacht, Marie Pieri, Marco Pieri, Ashley Lamb, Melissa Lamb, Hutson Lamb, Max Lamb, and great-grandchildren, Grayson Ewing, and Addilyn Ewing. He is also survived by nieces: Donna (Lamb) Goodwin, Ellen (Lamb) Goebel and Joann Bjurman. Nephews: Richard (Skip) Lamb, John, James and Jerry Bjurman.
Chuck was preceded in death by his parents, Rea Lamb and Eva Bjurman Lamb.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Monday May 23rd 2016 at 11:00AM at St. Mark Catholic Church. (7117-14th Avenue) Visitation with the family will take place on Monday at the church from 9:30AM until the time of mass. Burial will take place on Wednesday May 25th 2016 at 10:00AM at Southern WI Veterans Cemetery in Union Grove WI.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the charity of ones choice would be appreciated.
