Pearl (Omelianchuk) Giannola, age 78 a resident of Somers, died Monday October 10, 2005 at Hospice House in Pleasant Prairie WI.
Born on March 31, 1927 in Zion IL, she was the daughter of the late Vasily Titus and Xenia (Solonanchuk) Omelianchuk.
On May 8, 1949 she married Joseph Giannola at Holy Family Church in Chicago IL.
She attended services at Northside Bible Church in Kenosha.
She enjoyed ceramics, painting portraits, scrap booking, cooking, gardening and sewing.
She is survived by her husband Joseph of Somers; three sons. Joseph Jr. of Somers, Sam (Brenda) Giannola of Lac Du Flambeau WI, Leonard (Karen) of Somers; four daughters; Bonnie (Joseph) Gogola of Cottage Grove WI, Jackie (George) Stoner of Somers, Catherine ?Cassie? Giannola of Kenosha, Janet (Michael) Cardinali of Somers; eight grandchildren; Michael, Jaime, and Brian Gogola; David and Gina Lerdahl; and Joseph and Daniel Cardinali and Matthew Giannola. She further survived by a brother Paul P. Omelianchuk of GA; four sisters Mary Beck of Evanston IL; Teene Omeliachuk of Somers WI; Maryon Nordenstrom of Chandler AZ; and Vera ?Bunny? Lasco of Kenosha.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother Daniel and two sisters; Anne Luden and Grace Stipanuk and two grandchildren Nicolas and Gabriel Cardinali.
A memorial service for Pearl will be held Thursday October 13, 2005 at 1:00PM at Northside Bible Church. (1600-37th Street) Visitation with the family will be held on Thursday at the church at service time only.
