Paul A. Haake, age 75, a resident of Kenosha, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, July 27, 2007.
Born on June 26, 1932 in new Baden IL, he was the son of the late Lawrence and Helen (Kneipman) Haake.
Paul served in the US Navy during the Korean War and was stationed on the USS Philippine Sea. He received the United Nations Services Medal, National Defense Service Medal, the Good Conduct Medal, the Korean Service Medal and the China Service Medal.
He was employed as a barber for many years, and then was employed at Marsh Instrument.
In Binghamton NY, he married Josephine Byce. Together they would raise their family in Evanston IL. They came to Kenosha in 1989.
He is a member of St. Mark Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife Josephine of Kenosha; four daughters, Nina (Reed) Millsaps, Diane (Stephen) Nicoletti, Marianne (William) Denison, and Julie Haake; five grandchildren, Joseph, Allison, Jack, Mark, and Sophia; five brothers and two sisters.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and two sisters.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, August 1, 2007 at 11:00AM at St. Mark Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Cemetery.
