Patricia Bodven, age 72, a resident of Kenosha, passed away on Tuesday February 2nd, 2016 at St Catherine’s Medical Center in Pleasant Prairie.
Patricia (Pat) was born in Kenosha on March 3rd, 1943 to Don and Margaret (Morton) Barlow. She was educated in the schools of Kenosha. As a child she cherished summers at Lake Shangrila with her parents and other siblings. In 1981, she was united in marriage with Robert Bodven who preceded her in death.
Pat was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She always taught others to value and appreciate the diversity in everyone.
She was a great cook and loved cooking for her family making potato sausage at Christmas time. Pat was a lifelong Chicago Bears fan who loved to watch football on Sunday’s. In later years she would spend time in Arizona with Robert.
Surviving Pat are her four children, Scott Mantuano of Indiana, Cathy Mantuano-Hanson of Kenosha, Greg (Wendy) Mantuano of La Mesa, CA and Suzanne (Art) Mantuano-Jones of Schamburg, IL. and her 15 grandchildren. She is further survived by her sisters, Donna Patterson, Nancy (Darryl) Tillus, Joyce Linn and by her brother Gary Barlow.
Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Robert and by a brother Russell.
Private family services will be held on February 8, 2016 from 1:00 – 3:00pm at the Fireside Lounge 2801 – 30th Avenue, Kenosha, WI 53144.
