Orville Besch, age 84 and a resident of Union Grove, died Thursday October 20, 2011 at Aurora Memorial Hospital in Burlington.
Born on September 4th 1927 in Salem, he was the son of the late Carl and Fannie (Hillier) Besch.
He was educated in local schools and served in the United States Navy. On July 30, 1955 he married Treasure Kraak in Kenosha.
Orville was employed for as a driver with Chrysler Corporation and retired after 41 years. He was a member of Local 72 and of St. Robert Bellermine Church in Union Grove. He enjoyed traveling with his family, eating out and playing cards. He was at his happiest when spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Treasure of Union Grove, two daughters Kim (Gary) Meddaugh of Oak Creek, Terry (Mike) Faber of Silver Lake, and two sons Richard (Chris) of Burlington and Ken of Union Grove. He is further survived by three grandchildren, Heather (Bez) Hidri, Jacob (Amber) Faber, Jessica (Christopher) Sarver and four great grandchildren, Ariana, Angelina, Tayten and Colton.
Orville was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Bill, Lyle and Artie and by his sisters Margaret Busch and Anna Van Alstine.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday October 22, 2011 at 11:00AM at St. Robert Bellermine Catholic Church in Union Grove located at 3320-South Colony Ave. (Hwy. 45). Visitation with the family will also take place on Saturday at the church from 9:30AM until the time of mass. Burial will take place at a later date at Sunset Ridge Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to Hospice Alliance or St. Robert’s Church would be appreciated.
