Norbert W. O’Neil, age 86 a resident of Kenosha, died Thursday June 4th 2015 at his residence.
Born on October 26, 1928 in Oconto WI, he was the son of the late Gordon and Nora (Degeneffe) O’Neil.
He worked at the Simmons Co until 1958, was a custodian at Kemper Hall for about 9 years and then American Motors and Chrysler for 31 years retiring in 1989. He belonged to Local 72 Retirees. He enjoyed his family, friends, doing crafts and spending winters in Florida. On April 30, 1949 he married the former Joan Kruse in Oconto WI.
Surviving are his wife and two sons, Dennis (Karen) of Elcho WI and Kevin (Charlotte) of Edmond OK, two grandchildren; Jessica O’Dell and Kate Servi; and two great grandchildren Trevor and Ivy and one brother Richard of Kenosha.
He was preceded in death by three sisters Inez (Lester) Brown of Kenosha Phillis Riederer of Michawauka IN and Rita (Hubert) Robenhurst of Suring WI and his twin brother Norman of Watsonville CA.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday June 10th 2015 at 11:00AM at St. Therese Catholic Church in Kenosha. (2020-91 street) Visitation with the family will be on Wednesday at the church from 9:30 AM until the time of mass. Entombment will take place at All Saints Catholic Cemetery at a later date.
