Nina T. Wiegert, age 56, of Kenosha passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on Monday, July 19th, 2021. Nina was born on January 16th,1965 in Kenosha to Phillip and Charlene (Lencioni) Smith. She attended local schools and graduated from Mary D. Bradford High School in 1983. Nina married Jeffery Wiegert on September 6th,1986 in Kenosha. She worked for many years at K-Town Transportation in the billing department. Nina enjoyed dartball, antiquing, and watching her ducks and cranes that visited the creek. Her greatest joy was the time she spent with her family, who were the light of her life.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Nina is survived by, her husband of 34 years, Jeff; her son, Nicholas (Kay) Wiegert; her daughter, Leslie (Michael) West; a granddaughter, Madyson Wiegert; grand-dog, Cloud; her brother, Timothy (Kimberly) Smith as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
A celebration of life for Nina will be held at 6:00 P.M. on Thursday, July 22nd,2021 at the Woman’s Club of Kenosha (6028 – 8th Avenue). A visitation will be held at the Woman’s Club on Thursday from 4:00 P.M. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family would be appreciated.
The family would like to extend their sincerest gratitude to Dr. Knight and the staff at Froedtert South Cancer Center and the nurses and staff at Hospice Alliance for the compassion and care they showed to Nina.
