Muriel Hoefert (1922-2013)

Muriel Hoefert passed June 20, 2013. She was born in Menasha WI September 28, 1922 and adopted by Arnold and Rose Tauschek in Manitowoc WI. She attended city schools and graduated from Lincoln High in 1941. She also graduated from Milwaukee accredited School of Beauty Culture. Muriel married Arthur Hoefert of Two Rivers WI at St. Pauls in Manitowoc. She was a member of the Catholic Jr. League and Christian Mothers Society. In 1956 they moved to Kenosha WI where she was also a member of Christian Mothers Society. She became the culture Director for CYO. Muriel worked as a hair and wig stylist. She later worked for eleven years at Sheridan Lanes nursery. She later moved to Delavan WI.

Muriel is survived by two sons Allen (Mary) and Dean both of Delavan and two daughters Sandra (Bill) Seitzinger of AZ and Rhonda Hoefert of Delavan. She is also survived by 1 grandson, 6 step grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and 11 step great grandchildren.

Muriel was preceded in death by her parents, husband and son Kurt.

As per Muriel’s wishes, services were private.
