Marylyn J. Wendt, age 81 a resident of Kenosha, died Monday March 9th 2015 at the Kenosha Medical Center.
Marylyn was born in Kenosha on September 21st, 1933 to Ralph and Jenny (Cerminara) Andreoli. She graduated from the schools of Kenosha and on September 16th, 1961, she was united in marriage with Frank J. Wendt at Our Lady of Holy Rosary Church. Their union was blessed with the addition of two sons.
Marylyn worked at Tremper High School, where she retired from in 1997. She also worked at various times for AMC and for Holy Rosary School, and in her nephew’s dental office. Family was everything to Marylyn and she enjoyed their times together. She was a great cook and loved to travel to Europe.
Marylyn is survived by her husband of 53 years, Frank, and by her sons, Michael (& Barbara) Wendt of Vernon Hills IL, and Daniel Wendt of Kenosha. She is also survived by her beloved grandchildren; Quinn, Eric, Veronica and Olivia, and by her brother Charles (Mary) Andreoli of Kenosha and her sister Carmella Marino of Racine.
Marylyn was preceded in death by her parents and by her grandparents; John and Mary Cerminara of Kenosha and Charles and Carmella Andreoli of Italy.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday March 13th 2015 at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Kenosha. (2224-45th Street) Visitation with the family will be on Friday in the DeSimone Hall from 10:00AM until the time of mass (lower level of the church). Burial will take place at a later date.
