Mary A. Misurelli, 83, of Kenosha died peacefully on November 22, 2010 at the Hospice House residence in Pleasant Prairie. Born October 10, 1927, she spent her childhood growing up on the family farm in Paris Township in Kenosha County; the daughter of Achille Infusino and Divina Presta.
She married Eugene O. Misurelli on June 28, 1947 at Holy Rosary Church. Mary worked as an attendant and retired from the Holiday Village Laundromat. She belonged to St. Mark Catholic Church and was a member of the Christian Women?s Society.
Mary was a loving and devoted spouse and mother, who enjoyed being with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her family was always her first priority. She had a “green thumb” and loved to work in her garden and flower beds. I think you could say she liked to nurture things and watch them grow.
Mary is survived by her husband Eugene, her five children; Josephine (Jack) Springer, Marilyn Neu, Michael (Jerl) Misurelli, Carol (Brian) Williams, and John (Jill) Misurelli, her nine grandchildren; James and Laura Springer, Carrie (Tony) Poling, Paul Misurelli, Joshua, Riannon and Christopher Misurelli and Rich and Amelia Tobias, her five great grandchildren; Anthony, Aaron, Austin and Anika Poling, and Lorelei Misurelli. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and three sisters.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday November 26, 2010 at 10:30AM at St. Mark Catholic Church. Visitation will be on Friday at the church from 9:00AM until the time of mass. In lieu of flowers memorials to Hospice Alliance would be appreciated.
