Mary Marques (1936-2017)

          Mary A. Marques, age 81, of Racine, died August 26, 2017 at home surrounded by her loving family.

          Mary was born in Menasha, Wisconsin on May 5, 1936 to Stanley and Esther (Schneider) Dombrowski. She served her country as a member of the U.S. Navy. For over 30 years, she was employed by Foley Corporation in Chilton Wisconsin from where she retired at age 62.

          Mary loved to keep busy. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, jigsaw puzzles and she was especially good at paint-by-numbers pictures. Mary enjoyed spending time with her two cats, Dustin and Casper and always loved helping out at Chez Bob’s, a restaurant owned by one of her beloved sons.

          She is survived by her two sons, Robert Marques and Brian Marques, both of Racine, and by her granddaughter Sarah Withers of St. Nazianz Wisconsin and her great grandchildren Camden, Lincoln and Aiden Withers.

          Preceding Mary in death were her parents and her four brothers.

Private services will be held at a later date.
