Mary Lynn Crunk, 59, a resident of Burlington, died Thursday, August 18, 2016, at Aurora Memorial Hospital of Burlington.
Born on July 31, 1957, she was the daughter of Thomas Crunk and Elsie Adkins and the step-daughter to Mack Adkins and the late Ruth Ann Crunk. A native of Chicago Illinois, she moved to Wisconsin in 1995. Pursuing her passion of finance, she spent the early part of her professional career as a bookkeeper and accounting clerk.
Best known for her sweet-tooth, she was a favorite amongst her many nieces and nephews. Even as she fought through numerous medical complications, nothing brought a bigger smile to her face than seeing one of her grandchildren.
She is survived by her mother and father; one son, Bob (Rachel Brandes) Johnson of Kenosha; one daughter, Penny Johnson of Mundelein Ill.; and three grandchildren; Jayden Johnson, MaKenzie Johnson and Madison Brandes. She is further survived by two sisters, Roberta and Brenda, as well as one brother, Mack.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 25, 2016, at 5 p.m. at St. Marks Catholic Church. (7117 14th Ave,Kenosha,WI53143) Visitation with the family will be on Thursday at the church from 3:30 p.m. until the time of services.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be designated to the Boys and Girls Club of Kenosha, The Kenosha Literacy Council or the Shalom Center.
