Marlene Joyce Rothamer, 76, a resident of Kenosha, passed away at Hospice House in Pleasant Prairie, with her family by her side.
Marlene was born in Arpin, Wisconsin on August 28th 1938 to John and Mildred (Foote) Joiner. On April 7th, 1956, she was united in marriage with Gary David Rothamer in Loyal, Wisconsin. They had three children together and made their home in Kenosha.
Marlene was retired from Jockey and enjoyed gardening, feeding the birds and bingo, but mostly loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Gary of Kenosha and by her beloved children, Debra (Jeff) Butler of Wheatland, Lori (Kurt) Callow of Rhinelander and Scott Rothamer of Fairfield,Texas. She is further survived and will be missed by her granddaughter Corine (Derek) Friday of Sun Prairie, her great grandson Clayton Friday and by her sister Joan Shanholtz of Mercer, Wisconsin as well as by several sisters-in-law and brothers-in law and numerous nieces and nephews whom she cherished.
Marlene was preceded in death by her parents, and by her sister Stella Lau and her brothers John Joiner and Floyd Joiner.
Funeral Services for Marlene will be held on Tuesday June 30th, 2015 at 11:00A.M. at Holy Nativity Lutheran Church (2313-17th avenueKenosha). A time for visiting with the family will take place from 9:30 A.M. until the time of the service at the church. Burial at Sunset Ridge Memorial Park will immediately follow the services.
