Mark S. Fasci, 60, of Kenosha passed away peacefully at Hospice Alliance, on March 17, with his family by his side. Mark was born on March 25, 1957, to the late Concetta (Ricchio) Fasci and Salvatore Fasci. He attended St. Mark’s Grade School, Lincoln Junior High, and graduated from Tremper High School in 1975.
Mark worked in Kenosha all his life including on the Lake Michigan Docks as a Longshoreman; a member of Kenosha Private Police; and finally as Guest Relations Secretary at United Hospital until his retirement in 2015.
Mark married Debra Malko in 1981 and they had two loving children, Mary and Annastasia (Anna).
Mark was always the life of the party no matter how big or how small. His laugh and energy would light up the whole room. He literally knew everybody and everybody knew him.
Mark enjoyed playing basketball, at one point was known as the “Lincoln Park Legend.” When he wasn’t playing basketball, he enjoyed watching (aka yelling and cheering) nearly every game that was on TV. He coached CYO basketball for his daughters team. He was so happy when his Chicago Cubs finally won the 2016 World Series as well as when the Green Bay Packers won their Super Bowls in 1996 & 2010. Mark also was in his glory while standing on the sidelines at Lambeau Field as he provided oxygen to the NFL players with his friend Mark Celebre. Mark also loved traveling, golfing, attending Jazz & Blues Fests in Chicago, and was also a member of Moose Lodge #437 of Racine.
But most of all Mark loved spending time with his family especially with his granddaughter Johana. Mark always loved an Italian spread of pizza sausage, antipasto trays and homemade cookies.
Mark was preceded in death by his wife, Debra Malko, his parents, Father-In-Law Paul Malko and Sister-In-Law Diane Malko.
Mark is survived by his daughters, Mary and Annastasia Fasci; granddaughter Johana Dominguez and his beloved girlfriend Wendy Abel; two brothers, Michael and Ty Fasci; sister Jennifer (Fasci) Trecroci, brother-in-law Frank Trecroci; Mother-in-law Mary Malko, Sister-in-law Gina (Roger) Ciotti, Brother-in-law Steve Malko; Nephews, Benjamin Trecroci, Allan Amadio; Nieces, Stephanie (Jasper) Bosco, Lori Trecroci, Rachael Fasci, Rachael (Omero) Lopez and many loving great nieces and nephews.
The family would like to especially thank the Aurora ICU staff, Drs. Durrani and Bawaadam, Hospice Alliance Staff.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday March 23, 2018 at 11:00AM at St. Mark Catholic Church in Kenosha. (7117 14th Avenue) Visitation with the family will be on Friday at the church for 9:30AM until the time of mass.
In lieu of flowers memorials to either the family or Hospice would be appreciated.
Bill & Laurel Celeste says:
Mary & Anna, Please accept our sincere sympathies on the loss of your father. We met him through Wendy. Bill played bocce ball with him at the Moose Lodge. We had grown fond of him and had gone to Glorioso’s and Potawatomi on a great day trip, had a dinner at Roma Lodge and were honored and surprised when he and Wendy came to our Christmas Eve open house and spent several hours with us.
Mark was very easy to like and become friends with. Please know that he was loved by many who will also dearly miss him.
May God bless all of you.
Ruth Dickinson says:

Mark Greenwood & Family says:
Mary and family,
Please accept hearfelt condolences from the Greenwood family on the loss of your father.
I knew your Dad from a very young age as we were neighbors for a short time way back in the 70’s. Our paths crossed from time to time and he always remembered me and was quick to say hello.
Cherish the memories you made with him!
